Did you know that robots can work in space, even where humans can’t go? At OhmsKids Coding Class in Newton, Singapore, we help kids explore how robots function, not just on Earth, but even on distant planets!
Space is a tough place: there’s no air, it gets extremely cold, and temperatures can suddenly turn super hot. But robots like NASA’s Mars rovers are built to handle it. These robotic explorers have robust outer shells, specialized insulation, and solar panels that enable them to absorb energy from the sun, allowing them to continue moving and working, even millions of kilometers away from Earth.
That’s why we like to think of them as the superheroes of space exploration. They take amazing photos, dig into Martian soil, and send valuable information back to Earth, all with no humans on board!
At OhmsKids, we inspire young minds by connecting fun facts like these to real learning. Through our Robotics Class in Newton, kids learn how to build, program, and imagine the robots of tomorrow—whether for Earth or outer space!
